Does PingAim work with Zenless Zone Zero?
Yes. PingAim auto-detects ZenlessZoneZero.exe and routes its traffic through your optimal network interface using a WFP kernel driver. It is fully compatible with HoYoProtect anti-cheat — PingAim operates at the network level only and does not interact with the game's memory or process.
Why is my ping high in Zenless Zone Zero?
The most common cause is being on the wrong server region — if you created your account on Asia but live in America, your ping will always be high. If your region is correct, the issue is likely your ISP routing traffic inefficiently to Alibaba Cloud (HoYoverse's hosting provider). Fast internet speed does not guarantee low ping — routing quality matters more.
What is a good ping for Zenless Zone Zero?
Below 80ms is excellent — dodge-counters and combat timing feel fully responsive. 80-130ms is playable for most solo content with minor lag perception. Above 130ms you will notice delayed dodge responses and rubberbanding, especially in co-op. Above 200ms makes co-op boss fights significantly more difficult.
Can I change my server in Zenless Zone Zero?
No. Your server is permanently tied to your account from the moment you create it. HoYoverse does not offer server transfers. If you are on the wrong server, the only solution is to create a new account on the correct region — you will lose all progress.
Is it safe to use network optimizers like PingAim with ZZZ?
Yes. HoYoverse's anti-cheat (HoYoProtect) targets in-game cheating such as memory modification and speed hacks. It does not monitor or restrict network routing tools. PingAim operates at the Windows network driver level, completely outside the game's detection scope. Third-party tools like LagoFast and GearUp Booster have marketed ZZZ support for years without bans.
Does ping matter for solo content in ZZZ?
Less than in PvP games, but it still matters. Solo story quests are forgiving — up to 150ms is typically unnoticeable. Time-attack challenges and combat mechanics that rely on precise dodge-counter timing (flash-dodging, perfect parries) become harder to execute above 100ms. Co-op is the most ping-sensitive content.
