How to check your actual ping in World of Warships
World of Warships has a built-in FPS/ping display that can be enabled in Settings (the exact menu path varies by game version — check Graphics or Interface sections). If the toggle is not visible in your version, install a ping/FPS meter via Wargaming's official ModStation. Alternatively, use the WGCheck diagnostic tool (WGCheck/WGCheck.exe in the game folder → Network tab) for detailed route analysis. When enabled, ping and FPS appear as a small overlay during battle
Small overlay showing current ping in milliseconds and FPS. Spikes to high values (200ms+) during battle confirm a network problem on your side.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing World of Warships traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
Still lagging? Download PingAim and let it fix the route automatically.
