Yes. PingAim auto-detects LOSTARK.exe and routes its traffic through the optimal network interface using a WFP kernel driver. It is fully compatible with Easy Anti-Cheat — PingAim operates at the Windows network layer and never touches the game process memory, so EAC cannot flag it.

Internet speed (bandwidth) and ping (latency) are unrelated. High ping in Lost Ark is almost always caused by your ISP routing traffic through inefficient paths to Amazon's AWS servers. After the 2024 SA region merge, South American players connect to US East — adding baseline latency regardless of connection speed. Tools like PingAim find a shorter routing path to the AWS datacenter.

Below 70ms is comfortable for all content including hard-mode Legion Raids. 70-120ms is playable but counter and mechanic timing becomes less reliable. Above 150ms makes mechanics genuinely difficult — boss counter windows and dodge patterns become unreliable. Above 200ms, many hard-mode mechanics are nearly impossible to execute consistently.

Network optimizers like ExitLag and WTFast are officially supported and widely used without bans. EAC focuses on detecting memory manipulation and cheat software, not routing tools. PingAim uses a WFP driver that never touches game memory. The one risk to avoid is DLL injection directly into LOSTARK.exe — this can trigger EAC detection.

Amazon Games merged the South America region into North America East in June 2024. If you were playing on a South American server, your game traffic now routes to a US East Coast datacenter instead of a local one. Depending on your country, this adds 80-180ms of baseline latency. A routing optimizer can recover some of this by finding a more direct path to the US East servers.

Press ESC → Settings → Gameplay → Controls and Display → set 'Show Network Latency' to 'Always Show' → Apply. Your ping appears as a millisecond value in the bottom-left corner of the screen during gameplay.
