Americas
Los Angeles + New York (dual datacenter) High population Covers North America, Latin America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand. Historical Blizzard infrastructure in both LA and NYC.
Europe
Paris + Frankfurt High population Covers EU, Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa, Middle East. Historical infrastructure confirmed in Paris and Frankfurt from community packet analysis circa 2012. Blizzard has not disclosed current DC locations.
Korea
Seoul, South Korea Medium population Primary Korean-language server. Home of GSL, the most prestigious SC2 tournament. Professional Korean players exclusively use this region. Low absolute player count globally but extremely high competitive density.
Southeast Asia / Taiwan
Singapore / Taiwan Medium population Covers Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia. SEA accounts were merged into the Americas region in June 2017. Blizzard continued operating SEA regional game servers accessible via the Preferred Game Server dropdown under Americas. Population remains low.
Connection: Hybrid (dedicated + P2P)

Most ranked/competitive sessions use dedicated servers. Some casual modes or custom lobbies may fall back to peer-to-peer hosting.
