Estimates based on real-time measurement to nearest Cloudflare edge. Actual in-game ping may differ by ~15ms due to different routing to game servers. Your IP is sent to ip-api.com for city-level location — we don't store it.
How to check your actual ping in DayZ
Check the server browser before joining — ping is shown per server. There is no in-game ping overlay in current DayZ versions (the old Shift+P shortcut was removed). Use Windows Resource Monitor or external tools to monitor latency during a session. Server browser ping column (pre-join only). No in-session ping display — the Shift+P feature was removed in earlier development.
Server browser shows a Ping column with milliseconds for each server before joining. Once in-game, DayZ does not display ping natively — players must use external tools like Resource Monitor or third-party overlays.
If your actual ping is higher than our estimate, your ISP is routing DayZ traffic through a longer path than necessary. That gap is exactly what PingAim optimizes.
