Does PingAim work with Call of Duty Mobile?

On PC via GameLoop emulator — yes. PingAim auto-detects AndroidEmulator.exe (GameLoop main process) and lets you pick which physical Windows interface its traffic uses (Ethernet, WiFi, USB-tethered phone). The WFP driver operates at the Windows network stack and does not interact with the Android VM where the game's anti-cheat lives. PingAim mobile app support for direct Android/iOS play is coming soon.

Why is my COD Mobile ping high even though my internet is fast?

Bandwidth and ping are different measurements. You can have a fast connection on paper and still see high latency if your ISP peers poorly with the dedicated server hosting your nearest COD Mobile region — the network path is decided by your ISP and the server host, not by your raw download speed. COD Mobile auto-connects to the nearest region, but 'nearest' can still be a multi-hop path. On WiFi, interference and congestion from other household devices add latency. Background app updates also cause ping spikes that look like network lag.

How do I change server in COD Mobile?

You cannot directly choose your matchmaking server. The game auto-connects to the nearest region based on your location. The region selector in Leaderboards only affects your ranked leaderboard category — not which server hosts your matches. The only way to influence server selection is via your connection's geographic source — for example, a 5G tether may anchor to a different ISP edge than your home WiFi.

What is a good ping for COD Mobile?

Sub-100ms is the FPS playability threshold per Henderson & Bhatti 2003 (DOI 10.1145/944592.944601). Practically: lower latency is consistently advantageous for hit registration and movement responsiveness. Above the sub-100ms band, COD Mobile community testing reports shots regularly failing to register and increasing rubber-banding, especially in 100-player BR with hot-drop server load.

Does COD Mobile use RICOCHET anti-cheat?

No. RICOCHET is Activision's kernel-level PC driver for Warzone and mainline Call of Duty titles only. COD Mobile uses a separate proprietary security system on Android/iOS that detects modified APKs, root/jailbreak, and uses server-side behavioral analysis for aimbot and wallhack detection. Network tools like PingAim and ExitLag are not affected — they operate at the host OS network level, below the game's security layer.

Can I play COD Mobile on PC and use PingAim?

Yes. Install GameLoop (the official Tencent emulator for COD Mobile), then add AndroidEmulator.exe to PingAim. All COD Mobile network traffic on PC flows through this process. Pick whichever network interface you want it bound to — for example, a 5G USB tether — and GameLoop will use that interface while your other internet traffic stays on your main connection.

PingAim detects Call of Duty: Mobile automatically

No manual config. PingAim identifies Call of Duty: Mobile by process name and routes it through your fastest connection using a kernel-level WFP driver.
