Mumbai, India (AWS ap-south-1) Very high population The only official BGMI server region. All player data is stored in India per government data localization compliance requirements. BGMI is India-exclusive — non-Indian players cannot create accounts. Prior to the 2022 ban, servers were located in Singapore; after the 2023 relaunch, Krafton moved servers to India (with interim period in Malaysia). Indian players on major carriers (Jio, Airtel fiber, BSNL) typically see 20-60ms in metro areas. Mobile data (4G/5G) players see 40-100ms with variable jitter depending on tower load and carrier routing. Connection: Dedicated servers
