Does PingAim work with 2XKO?
Yes. PingAim auto-detects Lion.exe (2XKO's game process) and routes its traffic through your optimal network interface using a WFP kernel driver. It is fully compatible with Riot Vanguard — PingAim operates at the Windows network stack through Microsoft's official WFP API and does not inject into the game process or use unsigned drivers.
Is 2XKO P2P or server-based?
2XKO uses dedicated servers — unlike most fighting games that are peer-to-peer. All match inputs are processed by Riot's servers via Riot Direct, their proprietary internet backbone. This means your in-match ping is your latency to the nearest Riot server, not to your opponent's PC directly. This is why PingAim is more effective for 2XKO than for P2P fighters — it can optimize the actual match traffic path.
What rollback netcode does 2XKO use?
2XKO uses GGPO-based server-side rollback netcode. Unlike P2P rollback (used in Street Fighter 6 or Guilty Gear Strive), 2XKO's rollback runs through dedicated servers — all four players' inputs are sent to the server, which acts as the authority. A fixed three-frame input delay is applied to all players online and offline. A Fair Play Mode provides grace periods for late-arriving packets to prevent lag-switch exploitation.
Does 2XKO require Vanguard anti-cheat?
Yes. Riot Vanguard is mandatory for 2XKO. The game will not launch without Vanguard installed and running. Vanguard's primary targets in a fighting game are input scripting (macros for 1-frame combo links), input reading (software that reveals opponent inputs), and game state reading (real-time hitbox/frame data overlays that give mechanical advantages).
Can I get flagged by Vanguard for using PingAim?
No. PingAim routes Lion.exe through your chosen network interface using a WFP driver — the same technology used by Windows Firewall and enterprise security products. Vanguard flags DLL injection into game processes and unsigned kernel drivers. PingAim uses neither. Network optimizers like ExitLag work with Valorant (also Vanguard-protected) without ban reports, and PingAim uses an equivalent network-stack approach.
What is a good ping for 2XKO?
Below 50ms to your nearest Riot Direct server is ideal — this keeps rollback depth at 3 frames or fewer (on top of the fixed 3-frame delay). 50-80ms is playable for most casual and ranked play. Above 100ms, rollback corrections become noticeable enough to disrupt combo timing. Because 2XKO is server-based rather than P2P, your match ping is to the Riot server — not to your opponent — which PingAim can directly optimize.
Will 2XKO have crossplay?
Yes — 2XKO launched with full crossplay between PC (Windows via Riot Client), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with cross-platform progression. This is a day-one feature, not a post-launch addition.
