Season 19 overhauls Faction Battles with shrinking bounds, supply crates, and new rewards. Includes 8th anniversary celebration and various fixes.

Faction Battles

Battle Bounds (new)

  • Battle Bounds now shrink in size at set intervals during encounters
  • Area shrinks twice during battle before settling on final area
  • Crews receive on-screen notifications and audio cues when bounds change
  • Shrinking bounds force crews away from islands into open waters

Faction Storage Crates (new)

  • Ships low on supplies receive Faction Storage Crate near mast when entering battle
  • Crate resupplies resources for any item found under minimum threshold

Emissary Flag (new)

  • Emissary Flag automatically raised when entering Faction Battle
  • Guardians of Fortune raise Athena’s Fortune flag
  • Servants of the Flame raise Reaper’s Bones flag

Quick Requeue (new)

  • Losing crews can dive straight back to search for next opponent
  • Provides Faction Storage Crates and automatic Emissary Flag raising

Entry Requirements (new)

  • All crew members must complete Maiden Voyage and Tutorial Voyages
  • Must reach rank 25 with The Reaper’s Bones
  • Previous skip techniques no longer possible
  • Veteran players retain access regardless of requirements

Guardians of Fortune Rewards (new)

  • Champion of Fortune Figurehead, Flag, Sails and Hull unlockable
  • Guardian Chief’s Jacket, Gloves and Hat available
  • Guardians of Fortune Warpaint and Pledge of Honour Emote added
