Honor of Kings
Playing HoK on WiFi while your family streams? That's your problem. PingAim routes Honor of Kings through 5G tethering, Ethernet, or any second connection — while everything else stays on your default network. Works on mobile via PC tethering and on PC via GameLoop. Server map, ping guide, and regional latency info included.

More about Acehow it works · what it blocks · known conflicts
Honor of Kings uses Tencent's proprietary Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) system. Source: Tencent Cloud ACE product page (tencentcloud.com/product/ace) explicitly lists Honor of Kings and states ACE has served 700M+ players across hundreds of games. ACE operates at kernel level on Windows (when running via GameLoop emulator) and at application level on Android/iOS. It guards against memory tampering, debugging, DLL injection, unauthorized modifications, and speed-hack tools. ACE includes AI-driven detection for novel cheat patterns. ACE has been publicly criticized for kernel-level access on Windows, which grants the driver broad system control — a concern shared with other kernel anti-cheat implementations. Desktop Linux is blocked; Steam Deck is permitted.
VPN and network optimizers
Honor of Kings does not ban players for using network optimizers or VPNs for routing improvement. The game explicitly includes a 'Network Optimization' toggle in Settings > Network — Tencent's own acknowledgment that ISP routing is a problem. Third-party optimizers (LagoFast, GearUp Booster, etc.) are widely used by the community without bans. ACE targets game client integrity, not network routing layer.
Known software conflicts
- ACE may conflict with some Windows kernel-level tools when running via GameLoop emulator

Why ping matters in Honor of Kings
Latency sensitivity HighPing noticeably shapes the experience.
Honor of Kings is a fast-paced 5v5 MOBA where hero abilities, positioning flashes, and combo windows operate in 100-300ms timing frames. Skillshots and targeted abilities require responsive input feedback to execute accurately. At above 100ms, visible input delay makes combo execution and ability dodging unreliable. Because matches are 15-20 minutes on mobile with fast-paced engagements, even brief lag spikes during team fights can result in wasted ultimates or missed kill windows. Competitive and ranked play rewards sub-50ms connections for consistent hero control. The game displays a real-time ping indicator (green/yellow/red) that players monitor during matches.
About Honor of Kingsbackground, studio, esports scene
Honor of Kings (王者荣耀) is a free-to-play 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games. First released in China in November 2015, it is the world's highest-grossing mobile game of all time and recorded over 100 million daily active users as early as 2020 — a figure that grew to 139 million daily active users in China alone by 2025. The game launched globally through Tencent's Level Infinite publishing arm on June 20, 2024, expanding to over 160 countries across Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. Players choose from a roster of over 120 heroes inspired by Chinese history, mythology, and world culture to battle on the classic 5v5 map in matches averaging 15-20 minutes.
Honor of Kings is exclusively a mobile title (Android and iOS), though it can be played on PC via official emulator support through GameLoop (Tencent's own Android emulator). The global version is published by Proxima Beta Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based Tencent subsidiary operating under the Level Infinite brand. The game uses dedicated servers across all its global regions, with matchmaking locked per region and no cross-region play. Tencent's proprietary Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) system provides multi-platform protection against cheating and unauthorized modifications on both mobile and PC emulator environments.
The esports scene is anchored by the King Pro League (KPL) in China, launched in 2016 — one of the most-watched esports leagues in the world, with live attendance exceeding 60,000 at major events. Globally, Tencent invested $15 million into international esports expansion in 2025, establishing regional leagues including the Philippines Kings League (PKL), MY Honor of Kings League (MKL), Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL), Wildcard Kings Series (WKS) for broader Southeast Asia, and the Major West League (KMW) covering Europe, North America, and Latin America. The annual Kings International Championship (KIC) serves as the world championship event. With its massive Asia-Pacific playerbase and rapidly growing global footprint, Honor of Kings is arguably the most-played competitive game on earth by daily active users.

PingAim detects Honor of Kings automatically
No manual config. PingAim identifies Honor of Kings by process name and routes it through your fastest connection using a kernel-level WFP driver.
When does PingAim help — and when doesn't it?
PingAim helps when...
- Your phone is on congested WiFi but 5G tethering would give lower ping to the SEA (Singapore) server
- You live in the outer Philippine islands (Mindanao, Visayas) or eastern Indonesia — routing to Singapore is unreliable
- Playing on PC via GameLoop — route emulator traffic through a dedicated Ethernet or 5G connection
- Family or roommates are streaming during 7-10 PM peak hours and congesting the shared WiFi
- You have both mobile data and home broadband available — use whichever has lower ping at any moment
- Your ISP routes poorly to the nearest HoK server — PingAim selects whichever interface reaches it fastest
- Brazil-based players whose ISP routing to Tencent's LATAM infrastructure is suboptimal
- CIS or Turkish players with inconsistent routing to the regional server
Won't help when...
- You only have one network connection with no second interface available
- Your connection is already stable below 30ms with no jitter
- Server-side issues on Tencent's infrastructure (not client-side routing)
- Playing on Chinese servers — separate Tencent infrastructure, separate account system
- FPS drops or client lag inside GameLoop — hardware or emulator issue, not network
