Delta Force

Got a phone and WiFi? That's two connections. PingAim pins Delta Force to one interface while everything else stays on the other. High jitter in Hazard Operations extraction costs you your loot; a dedicated gaming connection sharply reduces that risk.

Why ping matters in Delta Force

Latency sensitivity Critical

Ping decides duels — sub-50ms is competitive territory.

Delta Force is a competitive tactical FPS with both an extraction mode (Hazard Operations) and large-scale warfare. In Warfare mode, engagements are decided in fractions of a second — every firefight, peak, or vehicle interaction depends on hit registration arriving before your opponent's. In Hazard Operations extraction, a single desync or rubberbanding incident can end your run, costing all extracted loot. Community reports confirm that UE4's lag compensation in Delta Force heavily favors players with 120–180ms ping over low-ping players in peek scenarios, meaning even 60–80ms players are at a structural disadvantage unless they optimize their connection aggressively. Target <60ms for competitive play; >150ms causes visible rubberbanding and hit registration failures.

About Delta Forcebackground, studio, esports scene

Delta Force is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter developed by Team Jade under TiMi Studio Group (Tencent) and published globally under the Level Infinite label. The game launched in early access on PC via Steam on December 5, 2024, following a China-only release on September 26, 2024. Console versions (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) launched on August 19, 2025. The game is a modern reboot of the classic Delta Force franchise originally developed by Novalogic in the late 1990s.

Delta Force features three primary game modes: Warfare, a large-scale 64-player (32v32) team-based combat mode inspired by Battlefield, with infantry, vehicles, and combined arms; Hazard Operations, a squad-based extraction mode where teams of three drop into a map, complete objectives, loot gear, and attempt to extract while fighting both AI enemies and rival player squads — comparable to Escape from Tarkov or DMZ; and Hot Zone, a smaller-scale 3v3v3 competitive mode. A single-player campaign recreating the events of Black Hawk Down (2001) launched in February 2025, rendered in Unreal Engine 5.

The game has attracted significant attention and controversy in equal measure. On the technical side, it uses Tencent's proprietary G.T.I. Security kernel-level anti-cheat (also known as ACE — Anti-Cheat Expert), which runs at Ring 0 privilege and caused widespread criticism at launch due to its persistence after game uninstallation and conflicts with Easy Anti-Cheat used by other games. Despite the controversy, the game reached a peak of 247,028 concurrent Steam players in September 2025, demonstrating a healthy global playerbase particularly strong in Asia, North America, and Europe.

PingAim detects Delta Force automatically

No manual config. PingAim identifies Delta Force by process name and routes it through your fastest connection using a kernel-level WFP driver.

When does PingAim help — and when doesn't it?

PingAim helps when...

  • You have a phone with 5G/LTE — tether via USB for a dedicated gaming connection
  • You have both WiFi and Ethernet — route Delta Force through the faster one
  • You stream while playing Warfare mode — separate game and OBS traffic across connections
  • Your WiFi is congested at peak hours — bypass it by routing game traffic over 5G tethering
  • You have two ISPs or a dual-WAN router
  • Windows picks the wrong interface and Delta Force uses a slow adapter by default
  • You're in SEA or Oceania and your main connection has poor peering to Singapore or Japan servers

Won't help when...

  • You only have one network connection with no way to add a second
  • Your only connection is already fast and stable (under 20ms, no jitter)
  • Server-side issues (Delta Force has had frequent server overloads, especially post-console launch)
  • UE4 lag compensation that favors 120ms players — routing optimization helps your ping but doesn't fix game's inherent netcode design
  • FPS drops unrelated to network (GPU/CPU performance)
  • G.T.I. Security / Tencent ACE is a kernel-level anti-cheat — use PingAim's signed WFP driver mode only and do NOT enable DLL-injection mode for DeltaForceClient-Win64-Shipping.exe, since ACE explicitly blocks cross-process injection
